The State was a comedy troupe who landed a show on MTV for 2 years in the mid 90s (93 to 95). Absolutely fantastic comedy that launched the career of a lot of comedians, most notably Michael Ian Black. Here are two prime examples of the comedy gold they produced (note: 3rd grade humor is still humor).
